2004 NOMMA TOP JOB AWARD (SILVER) - This handrail fabricated for a customer in Pebble Beach, CA. who wanted a 'flowing' design.  The handrail has a top floor landing and curves down two flights of stairs.  We are extremely proud of this award as the Top Job contest for NOMMA consists of entrants from all across the USA.

The top photo selection is a modified design from a European castle.  Steel bars were twisted and formed to the "Y" shape with bronze collars at the base of the "Y". The caprail used was Julius Blum's 2 1/4 inch wide bronze molded cap rail.  Each baluster was individually mounted into the step.

The second photo is a beautiful combination of cold roll steel 1/2 inch round bar with a bronze knuckle in the middle.  The 2 1/4 inch molded cap rail on the top is bronze to match the knuckles.  This is a very elegant and simple look.

The third photo is a very special job.  This is a steel formed railing with a red molded cap rail.  This railing was designed for and installed at Roy's Restaurant in the Spanish Bay Resort at Pebble Beach, CA.

This is another beautiful combination of steel and bronze.  Balusters are a round steel with the bronze molded cap rail.  Provisions are made on an individual basis for the transitional turn from one staircase to another.
