WHO WE ARE Metal Specialties is a family owned and operated custom metal fabrication company. We have been serving the Monterey Peninsula for over 25 years with quality ornamental, commercial and structural metalwork. We are located on Del Monte Avenue across from the historic Fisherman’s Wharf. Our shop has become a landmark to the Monterey Peninsula with its decorative display of castings and ironwork across from the bay. We have extensive experience in all forms of metal fabrication including welding, forging, forming and machining. In addition to our fabrication experience, our formal educational backgrounds are in visual art and design. This experience enables us to bring a unique perspective and ability to each project. Our extensive knowledge in construction and engineering practices are complimented by our technical and design ability. We embrace the diversity and challenge of each individual project and work to achieve the highest quality product for our clients. Over our 25 years in business we have established long standing relationships with a wide variety of contractors, architects, designers, business owners and home owners on the peninsula. Some of our recent large projects have included The Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Naval Meteorological Center and The City of Monterey. While we are often working on large scale projects, there is no job too small for our company. We are committed to collaborating with every client and providing them with the best possible work. |
